VPNs have been a popular product for podcasters and YouTubers to advertise for years now. A lot of the VPNs aren't too good, and the security benefits of VPNs are overstates.

VPNs are good for hiding your IP address from websites, and hiding the websites you visit from your ISP. That's about it.

I would recommend Mullvad if you really want a VPN, or using the Tor browser( if you really need to browse with privacy.
